Spring break

The kids and I have been at the lake for the last few days. My parents had some friends out from North Carolina and we decided to crash their party. No really, we were invited. I don’t know who had more fun, my kids, or the Gronzo’s. There was lots of tickling, story reading, fishing, and scrapbooking. In other words, there was something for everyone. Highlights include feeding the fire monster (he’s especially fond of the brush piles out at the barn), reading the same 5 stories over and over (and over) Mental note: the lake house needs more books. Alex’s first game of Battleship (he and Grandpa were on a team, and they won!!) and Alex to Mary, “we need lots of time to talk”
